This project-based course offers hands-on experience in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) by combining theoretical knowledge with practical research or development work. Students choose a topic in collaboration with a supervisor and may work with industry or academic partners. Working independently or in small groups, they explore relevant concepts and methods, apply them to their chosen topic, and develop a structured project. The course emphasizes independent learning, supervision, and the production of a clear, scientifically written report presenting methods, results, and underlying theory.
